Digital X-rays are fast, safe, accurate in revealing many underlying health conditions. If we need to view the bones, joints, or heart and lungs, we often turn to radiography. This tool can help us diagnose:

Apex Vets uses environmentally-friendly, helium-free MRI equipment. Our 1.5 Tesla machine is more often found in human hospitals. Its speed can help your pet recover from their anesthesia faster, and enables us to proceed quickly toward a treatment plan. MRI gives us a detailed, high-contrast view of different structures of the body, including the brain, spinal cord, joints, muscles, and blood vessels. We can identify and diagnose many conditions, most commonly involving:

• Determining the cause of seizures

Our computed tomography (CT) machine produces advanced images using X-rays. These cross-sectioned "slices" give us a detailed view of various regions of the body, so our doctors can diagnose conditions such as:

• Diseases of the sinuses and nasal passages
